May 11th of this year, I found a lovely journal at the flea market. Beautifully quoted and illustrated, it is called "Journey to Wings ". I found this very appropriate because I was ready to start an adventure... a journey, if you will. So, I grabbed it ...YOINK! It spoke to me and I thought, "Here is where I will record my dreams, my thoughts, my inspirations. This book will be my new best friend." Two months to the day and ... the book is empty. BUT I did NOT put my hopes in the disappointment closet in the box of broken dreams. Nope! I began to make my dreams my reality. And when I say dream, I mean from since I was 10 , 11 years old. I have had 2 dreams. One was to publish a book by the time I was 40. That ... that time has long since come and gone! The other was to spend my time crafting and creating. And showing and sharing. But, that seemed next to impossible too. How could I fill a store, AFTER renting one, with handmade objects. Impossible! Until the internet and etsy! Now I'm living my dream every day.
